At the age of 16 she was scouted in her hometown of Buffalo, New York, and had gone to Personal Best modeling school at age sixteen. In Paris, she signed a contract with the IMG agency and over the next six months landed campaigns for CoverGirl, Chloé, and Gap.

Jessica White is a Victoria Secret’s top supermodel and she gave many poses for Victoria Secret. She has been called “the model of her generation” by Tyra Banks, and became the first African-American model to appear in three consecutive SI swimsuit issues in 2005.
